Kienna from Year 6, Saltersgate Junior School:
Dork Diaries,as soon as I saw the cover of this book I knew there would be some girl drama.I was right!Dork Diaries is all about a girl named Nikki Maxwell who just moved to a knew school.Nikki makes some friends and gets in to ALOT of drama. She sometimes quotes some stuff shorter like WYD[what you doing] or something like that. This book is good but I got a little bored at times.I suggest this book if you like highschool drama, secret crushes and a lot more stuff like that.
Amara from Year 5, Saltersgate Junior School:
This book is really funny and a bit crazy there is romance, friendship and of course drama there is about 12 dork Diaries to read and if you like this one you will like the others
Abigail from Year 6, Saltersgate Junior School:
I love the way the book makes her so independent and confident.
Sara from Year 7, Dixons Cottingley Academy:
Great characters that you can love or hate. Lots of comedy moments and the start of a great series.
Anaiya from Year 7, Dixons Cottingley Academy:
I really like the Nikki Maxwell character and the description of being picked on felt very true. It seemed like it would be helpful for anyone being bullied to cope and not give up. Also very funny moments.
Laila from Year 9, Dixons Cottingley Academy:
It was great to read a book about someone who writes a diary like me! This was a funny book with lots of imagination and also writing about the good and bad days we all have. I found it a bit long but that's because I mostly read shorter books.
