Olivia from Year 6, Saltersgate Junior School:

I personally love this book! All of the magic and wonder leaves a me on the edge of my seat. However there is one down side. I think that I personally cant picture what is happening in the story very well. It was really hard to pick my favourite character in this book and I still cant think to this day. I really do like the witch though even though she is obviously not a hero in this story. I would definitely recommend this book as it has a lot of high marks from me.

Elyse from Year 6, Saltersgate Junior School:

THIS IS THE BEST BOOK EVER!!!!!!!! To be honest when you start reading the book it is quite boring, but when you at least get onto chapter 3 you’ll be addicted. I promise you as soon as you open it you won’t be able to close it, it is that amazing. If I could give a higher rating I REALLY WOULD. I would recommend this book to people who like fantasy stories.

Doha from Year 7, Dixons Cottingley Academy:

This book was a great escape from the real world with a Aslan and the strong and selfless hero and lots of detail about the characters so you feel you really know them.

Aliza from Year 8, Dixons Cottingley Academy:

A fun and entertaining book about children sent to the country to avoid the air-raids during the war. I really enjoyed the adventures the children had especially having tea with the Beaver family and Lucy was my favourite character.

Isra from Year 8, Dixons Cottingley Academy:

An inspiring book set during the First World War which I really enjoyed. Narnia sounds like an amazing place to visit for an adventure.
