Grace from Year 6, Rosedale Primary School:

Harry Potter is an magical, adventrous and never before see world (by muggles).Harry Potter is an intreaging book not just for kids but everyone who is in to magic and fairy tail books. My best bit in Harry potter is when Harry gets on his broom to stop Malfoy destroying Neville's Remembrall and caches it before Malfoy destroys it. My worst part in the book is that Harry's aunt and uncle are all ways rude to harry even though he dose not find out he is a wizard until chapter 4. After you read this review you should order this book it is the best book I ever read yet. If you like this book you should read the series of Harry Potter and it will keep you entertained in this lock down.

Olivia from Year 6, Saltersgate Junior School:

I’m not going to lie when I say that I am a huge Harry Potter fan! So that would probably explain why I gave it 10/10. I think this a really good book and the characters (especially Hagrid) had a lot of thought put into them and are all amazing. My favourite character is obviously Miss Hermione Granger! She is so educated and has an amazing personality. I think there are the odd comedy bits that make most families laugh weather you are watching the movie or reading the book. I definitely prefer this book to the movie and would recommend this to anyone.

Ok I am a huge Harry Potter fan so that explains the rating but this book is amazing!Harry Potter is a boy who thought he was normal but really something magical and famous for one particular thing. He makes some friends and get sorted into a Hogwarts house[Hogwarts is a school for witchcraft and wizardry] and takes classes. But theres something he doesn't know about one teacher....I could include so much more information but I don't wanna give out spoilers. If you wanna read this book your probably into magic, adventure and unexpected surprises.

Joseph from Year 5:

This book is hugely creative and mysterious with a massive storyline; I love the themes of friendship and teamwork and the characters take many risks. I go to Travis CE Primary in Hatfield.

I love the magic in this book. My favourite character is Harry because he has a really interesting past and he is very gifted. Voldemort is evil but very interesting too. I would recommend this book for all ages.

Noah from Year 5:

This is a great fantasy full of magic and drama and great characters. It is very fun to read and addictive. I couldn't put it down. My teacher had to force me to put it down in class as I couldn't resist reading it.

Sienna from Year 5, Saltersgate Junior School:

I enjoyed this book because it was mysterious and magical. It had characters that were brave and humble and others that were selfish and greedy. My favourite part was when Harry looked in the mirror and another Harry smiled back. The scary part was when Voldemort was living on the back of Quirrell's head! I would definitely recommend this book.

Isabelle from Year 6:

This book is fantastic! I really enjoyed reading it, and I have now read it another 2 times since. It’s exciting and fun! The only problem is, you can’t put it down! I think it is an enjoyable read for ages from 7 higher as some of the words could be hard for younger people than 7. The characters are funny and cool and you get a really clear image for how they look and their personality. Great read for anyone wanting something full of humour, magic and fun!
