Kienna from Year 6, Saltersgate Junior School:

At first I thought this book would be a little boring because holes doesn't sound so exciting but when I started reading it I really enjoyed it. Holes is about a couple of boys at Camp Green Lake digging homes as punishment for there past troubles that they may or may have not done. But the main focus of the story is Stanley Yelnats(caveman).Stanley has an interesting past in is family. Once I heard about it I couldn't take my hands of the book! I suggest this book if you're into surprises, adventures and mystery. I rate this 10/10

Sara from Year 7, Dixons Cottingley Academy:

A great mystery story about false imprisonment and a family curse. I loved how everything was connected and was sorted out at the end.
