what I like about the plot is that col has six days to save his sister from an intense war. I really like the characters because they believe in themselves and never give up. I also like the sad and happy moments. The sad times were when all the fighting happened. When some people returned I felt happy and sad. I recommend this book for in between year 3 and year 6.

I absolutely adored this book and couldn’t put it down. My favourite character was pendleberry because she is so funny and confident. The worst character was definitely the midwinter king an I hated it when he hurt his dog. Overall I think this was a very good book.
