Samuel from Year 5, Saltersgate Junior School:
I quite enjoyed this book its probably my favourite out of the two books I was asked to review. I would rate this book 7/10. It was very adventurous and I like these type of books. My two favourite characters would be Lucy as she was always ready for adventure and managed to help out a lot. My second favourite would be the beavers, I love animals and these two were great they managed to complete their mission and helped out in battle. It was interesting and put me in different moods, mostly happy. There were a lot of cliff hangers and my favourite part would have to be the end where it said, "But if the professor was right, it was only the beginning of the adventures of Narnia." I really liked that quote and I really liked the ending when they won. If I could read it again I would and I probably will. I enjoyed this book and read it quicker then How To Train Your Dragon.
Matilda from Year 5, Saltersgate Junior School:
This was the second Chronicles of Narnia book. It was by C.S Lewis. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend this book to people who like books full of adventures. My favourite character is Lucy because she is kind and very nice. I was surprised when father Christmas showed up because I thought it would be the white witch but it wasn't ! My favourite part was when Mr Tumnus let Lucy go back home because it showed me that Mr Tumnus is a really nice person . I didn't really like the part where the witch was hurting Aslan the lion because Aslan did nothing wrong! I was also surprised when Edmund left his brothers and sisters to go and tell the white witch about them. I really hope you enjoy reading this book.
Chloe from Year 5, Saltersgate Junior School:
I really enjoyed Narnia The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe. My favourite character was Lucy because she is the smallest in the group but I think she's the bravest. The book is written by C.S Lewis. I'd recommend this book for people who like fantasy and adventure. My favourite part of the book was when they went into Mr Beavers hut and they realised Edmund had gone! Now a summary about the book..... Four children (Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy) stepped into a wardrobe and found themselves in a snowy place called Narnia. A bird lead them to a quite place where they met a talking Beaver read the book to find out what happens next.
Casper from Year 5, Saltersgate Junior School:
Four children : Lucy, Peter, Susan and Edmund step into a mysterious wardrobe, and find them selves in NARNIA. It is also always winter because of the White Witch that controls Narnia. It is sad at the end but happy at the end as well. I think the story is a very good book because something bad happens but then the author (C.S Lewis) makes something good happen as well. I really enjoyed this strange and mysterious book. My favourite character is Aslan the lion king. I would rate this book for children aged nine and over, especially those who enjoy adventure books!
