So far we have received 10 reviews of Stormwalker.

You can read them below.

Emily from Year 7, Healing School - A Science Academy:

I really liked the book because, I usually see books like this as a "Nightmare Book" but I thought this was alright . I agree with Robin Stevens quote "Gripping- A Joy Of A Story". I think this is aimed at young people not ready to take on real horror or gore, but still want to expirence a story like this. I felt like The Darkness ( the storm in the story) was forcing me to keep reading and not to return it! I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!!!!

Sophia from Year 7, Healing School - A Science Academy:

This book was a very intriguing but was slightly random at some points. It was about a boy called Owen Smith whose mother had passed away. He and his father where grieving; it was the day she died or as they call it ' the longest day'. When his father starts writing again, after some consideration. Owen jumps into his dads story. I thought how it was written was very clever and intriguing. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Tessa from Year 8, Don Valley Academy and Performing Arts College:

I think that the story is quite good and it's very well written. I gave this book a 6 out of 10 because it really wasn't a bad book or anything I just didn't fully enjoy it myself. That doesn't mean that other people wont enjoy it, I'm sure plenty of other people would like this. This book has twists and turns and parts of it can be quite emotional or intriguing.

Arron from Year 8, Rossington All Saints School:

Great Book! I found it very interesting and enjoyed the book very much it is based on a boy called Owen, he tries to help his dad by getting outside more and do some more things instead of being upset all the time. I usually think that these sort of books are scary and horrifying but I loved this book as it was based on a person my age and it make the readers really interact with the writer. Mike Revell is a excellent writer and has some very satisfying

Megan from Year 5, Saltersgate Junior School:

This book was one of the best books i've read so far. I liked this book because it intrigued me page after page after page. I would definitely read this book again. I rate this book a nine out of ten because the ending was a bit boring as everything had already happened.

Anna from Year 8, Healing School - A Science Academy:

It was a very well written book. Hardly any information was given from the blurb and the story took a while to get going. This really helped build up the tension to a great book with a brilliant story line. It is not the best book in the world and I would recommend it for boys from 9-14. It is a good story but it is not something I would normally go for. It is worth reading because it incorporates a good message and is a fantastic story to read.

Alex from Year 8, Don Valley Academy and Performing Arts College:

I individually enjoyed the book, as I can relate to it in some ways but not on quite a high scale as the book. I strongly believe that Mike Revell put his pure heart and soul in to making this book the absolute best it could be, and he really did do a great job. It has a great plot and the book makes some 'killer' points that interest the reader even more than they already would have done. Mike Revell has truly thought of every audience and has managed to encompass both action, adventure and tragedy all in one. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the book and would gladly read it again and recommend it to others.

Alex from Year 8, Don Valley Academy and Performing Arts College:

The book on a whole was fantastic, however i believe that the ending was slightly unsatisfactory, i loved the never knowing when the main character did not know when he was about to jump from different worlds, the shows great freindship, action and mystery, all around it was a good read.

Benjamin from Year 8, Don Valley Academy and Performing Arts College:

This is your average book with the same plot as any other. In the past I have read many books like this and they all have similar plots yet this one takes that well. it needs some more of it self rather than taking up the plot of others
